INITIAL PLANNING

The homes we build are as unique as the families that live in them. That’s why our initial meetings are all about you – your wants, your needs, and the values that shape your vision of home. We’ll discuss and develop every detail in-length, from your preferred design style to your project budget. Because once we know where you are, we can begin the journey to where you want to be.

DESIGN

Once we’re on the same page about your ideal home, it’s time to put your dreams on paper. During design, we work closely with local architects and design partners to create plans that capture your style and meet your initial budget. We remain hands-on, reviewing your drawings often and making suggestions that create timeless designs and, if needed, save costs through value engineering.

PRE-CONSTRUCTION

Before we break ground, we’ll tie up all the loose ends needed to start building your home. That includes finalizing your design plans, drafting and reviewing your contract, and establishing project timelines. To achieve that goal, we’ll provide you with an initial project schedule that establishes critical milestones and sets initial expectations. This also allows us to guide your product selection process for items such as windows, doors, fixtures, floors, and paint colors.

CONSTRUCTION

For us, construction is more than physically building your home – it’s all of the administrative and communicative tasks that keep things flowing smoothly. Our attentive team handles everything on-site and we are always happy to conduct walk-throughs and provide client support. You will be in constant contact with the Fairhope Building Company team as we keep you updated on our weekly progress, provide monthly budget reviews and walk you through our intended next steps.
